Screen 1 / Dolby screen is probably one of the best cinema experiences you’ll ever have, very close to imax. Don’t bother with the other screens/not seeing anything not in Dolby here. Also don’t get it confused with Odeon West End across Leicester Square!

Screen is disproportionately small in the main theatre for that number of seats. Seats were not as comfortable as other Odeon Luxe outlets and they do not have a remote recline. Theatre wayfinding is so poor… the aisle alphabet labels are small with poor contrast. This is compounded by confusing aisles like HH and JJ on top of aisles H and J which makes no sense whatsoever. The entire theatre needs a redesign. Such a pity for a prime location.

ODEON Luxe Leicester Square is one of the most legendary cinematic venues in the world — a place where the glamour, excitement, and magic of cinema truly come alive. Located in the heart of London’s famous Leicester Square, the Odeon has hosted countless world premieres, red carpets, and unforgettable moments in film history. Stepping inside feels like entering the grand stage of international cinema, where audiences, filmmakers, actors, and dreamers gather beneath glowing lights and cinematic anticipation. Its luxurious atmosphere, massive screen, and rich legacy make every screening feel like a premiere event. For anyone passionate about film, the Odeon Leicester Square is more than a cinema — it is a temple of storytelling and one of London’s most iconic cinematic experiences.

I visited the ODEON Leicester Square Luxe Cinema and was honestly underwhelmed by what is supposed to be a premium cinema experience. The auditorium is enormous - one of the largest I’ve been to - but the screen size simply does not match the scale of the room. Looking at the seating chart alone tells you the story: the hall is divided into multiple sprawling sections across rows A through QQ, accommodating what looks like hundreds of seats. Yet the screen felt disproportionately small for such a vast space. Sitting in the middle or further back, the screen appeared no bigger than what you’d find in a large living room - it genuinely felt like watching a movie on a home TV, not on a big-screen cinema display. For £20 per “Luxe Rocker” seat, you’d expect an immersive, larger-than-life experience. Instead, I felt like I was paying a premium price for a very average visual experience. The recliners are comfortable, and the venue is stylish, but if the core purpose of a cinema - the screen - fails to impress, all the extras feel like a distraction. If you’re sitting anywhere beyond the front third of the hall, you’ll likely find yourself squinting at a screen that simply doesn’t fill your field of vision. A true LUXE experience should mean a screen that dominates your sight - not one you almost have to search for. Not worth the premium ticket price. Disappointing for a flagship London cinema

For a cinema with the name Luxe in it and one that hosts red carpet screenings and premiere, I found this cinema abysmal. I went with my 7yr old to see the The magic faraway tree. I wanted the recliners so that we both have a nice experience and me having chronic pain and my son who's autistic, I thought it would be so perfect. The movie wasn't shown in those rooms. Ours had rockers. What was the point of those? They were all on the same level so he could barely see over the chairs in front of him. I saw a parent in front of me had the same problem and she went and got like these plastic booster seats for her kids. These were hard and uncomfortable and my sensory sensitive kid would not sit on it. I had no idea those even existed nor was I offered it. The screen was the smallest screen I've seen in a cinema in a long time. My tv at home was bigger. The room was also freezing. It was uncomfortable and unbearable. Worse experience ever. I was expecting to feel like a vip but instead felt like an nop(e). Not worth the money. Extremely disappointing and shocking.
